Yes, sometimes trying to be noble ends up being (unintentionally) selfish.

Very true, although in Sekhmet’s case it’s more a matter of “I decide what to do with my life” without really worrying about others… Not even the woman she’s in love with😦

Now THAT is selfish and headstrong (it’s one thing to be strong & independent; but it’s quite another thing to not even worry about the one you love).

Oh yeah. And that’s the same reason why she told Shanti she loved her and then forced poor Shanti to shoot her. Sekhmet has many emotional issues, to say the least…

Yep, there’s that risk, for sure. Hard to trust a partner like this. She’s going from a passive-aggressive companion to a stubborn and selfish one… I don’t really envy her.
