Welcome to my March newsletter! Plenty of fun news for this month – you’ll see.
If you’ve been around for a while, I’m sure you have noticed that the website has undergone some restructuring. I cleaned up the menus and reorganized the comic archive for easier navigation. Most importantly, my new comic, Infected Blood, is now very easy to browse through. See those nice arrows that read “First”, “Next”, “Random”, “Previous” and “Latest”? They are now under each page, giving you the best reading experience ever!
Quite honestly, I’ve been meaning to add these arrows for some time, but that required an overhaul I wasn’t ready to do until now. Please, let me know what you think about my website new look and feel by taking the poll below:
By the way, I’m aware that, on PCs, my banner is partly hidden under the comic page – it’s funny, but it’s the way it’s meant to be in the theme I’m using. It shows correctly on mobile devices.
Infected Blood has started… in blood! We are finally slowly uncovering the incredible world of Kemet-Ra, a powerful country sitting on top of a platform in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Who’s the woman screaming like crazy on the very first page? And whose hand is that in the third panel? What is going on? Keep reading, folks, everything (well, some of it) will be revealed in this dramatic Prologue!
The Green-Eyed Sniper completed on 6 February. It’s been a lot of fun, and I really hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I got many positive comments and feedback, which gave me an extra boost to create even more engaging stories with the best art I can! The entire comic is now at this link (accessible from the main menu, too) for you reading (or re-reading) pleasure. And if you wish… you can vote for your favorite character here!
I have a fun collaboration in the back burner with a group of very talented and nice artists! So far, all I can say is that each of us created a story and we are at different stages of our work. We are hoping to get our comics done by the end of the year (hopefully sooner!). I will keep you posted!
Sekhmet Reviews marches on,
burning down reviewing a variety of comics with much alcohol and, occasionally, some water. Sekhmet is having fun and so are, well, some of the authors of the comics she tears to pieces writes about, especially those who earn themselves Sekhmet’s Seal of Approval. If you are not familiar with it, here’s what it’s all about: when Sekhmet likes a comic enough to subscribe to it, she gives it her SoA and then gives an (optional) interview to the author for extra promotion. Only one author has earned her SoA so far. You can read her/his interviews here. Will Sekhmet subscribe to more comics? Will she even run into anything worth subscribing? Keep on reading her reviews, and you’ll find out!
Till next time…
