Author Notes

Alex's verdict concludes Chapter 1! I would love to hear from you what you think about it - did you enjoy it? Did it bore you? Are you looking forward to Chapter 2? Are you dropping the comic altogether? Anything goes, except for the obvious trolling, which will be squashed with a 1T hammer. Everyone else, feel free to leave a comment :)

Although Infected Blood will be on hiatus until 7 May, I will add extra pages about the characters, Kemet-Ra and AIMS. The pages will be released in place of the comic, so expect a new page almost every Monday. Make sure to check them out to learn more about the grim world of Infected Blood! Thank you for following so far and see you very soon :)

Hate the situation and the circumstances and the judgement.

Love the design of that judge! If that is a judge.

Also have a nice hiatus! I think this was a strong, very bleak, introduction to the world you've built. It's a strange mish-mash of colorful design yet overbearing dystopian character. Not dropping, staying, setting my timer for the 7th of May!
@David: The whole thing is messed up - and it's about to get even more complicated!

It is a judge, indeed, wearing a mask that represents impartiality and fairness of judgement - ha!

Thanks a lot for your continuous support, David! If you look at original ancient Egyptian paintings and decorations, you will notice the prevalence of gold/dark yellow, red, blue and green. I am using those colors for Kemetian authority buildings and certain uniforms (military officers, powerful clergymen/women, judges, etc.) as they represent power and a strong legacy with ancient Egyptian culture. These people like wealth - their entire life is based upon that. Just so you know, the judge's mask is made of gold, jade, lapis lazuli and rubies. His robe is made of pure silk.
