Here's May's newsletter, read on!
Voting
Please, remember to vote for my comic when you have time (once a week would be awesome, if at all possible)! Here's the voting link.
Slightly longer hiatus
As previously announced, my hiatus is finishing on 4 June. My family's health emergency is far from over, but we are coping with it - slowly, but surely.
Website revamp
My bonus content is growing! Besides the page about AIMS, I recently released one about Kemet-Ra, the most controversial country in Infected Blood's fictional world. And now, I added my characters' page, which at the moment is all about Alexandra Armstrong, her father Gordon and her "girlfriend" Stephanie Rogers. More characters will come soon!
Current comics
As a reminder, my comics are intended for adult audiences (18+ only).
Infected Blood is on hiatus until 4 June. I am finally drawing the cover of Chapter 2 and from here on it should be relatively smooth sailing, at least for the first few pages. I must confess I need to iron out a couple of parts of this chapter, but I am confident everything will turn out pretty cool. Something I would like you to know is that I don't want to go for an Orange is the New Black feel - that story has zero to do with mine, and I have to say... I used to like it a lot, but I no longer do. So, if you see anything in Infected Blood that vaguely resembles OITNB, that's definitely not what I wanted to convey, and it's likely all in your mind :)
Dynamic Spores, my horror anthology, is still ongoing and updating regularly on Wednesdays until completion of Ngiamwise!
Finally, Tales of the Wandering Stranger, the anthology I worked on with The Stitched Hand is currently updating with my comic An Alien's Departure, to conclude the Wandering Stranger's saga. Check it out!
Upcoming comics
I took a little time to draw my humorous comics, which is now pretty much ready to go! It will start in June, updating twice a week. Keep an eye out for it!
That's all for this month. As always, you may contact me by email at [email protected].
